| Piper's evolved out of the dreams of Claudia & Cindy Tatum. Both share a passion for great food & wine. Feeling that Truckee needed an easy but elegant place to eat, they began developing their idea for the restaurant. The name Piper's, is Cindy's youngest daughters name. The original concept was simply a bakery and that is why the original name was Piper's Patisserie, patisserie being the French term for bakery. We then decided because our location has so much exposure and foot traffic that we should offer more than just dessert. Although we still have desserts, that is not our only focus. We have fresh carved rotisseried meats every day, along with Salads, Sandwiches, & House Made Gelato. Come on down and let us create a unique dining experience just for YOU! See ya soon :-) |
